Which image formats are supported?

You can upload JPEG (.jpg), PNG and WebP images up to 25 MB each. You can keep the original format or convert between JPEG, PNG and WebP. WebP output requires a browser that supports WebP encoding (Chrome, Edge and most modern browsers do).

Why is my PNG sometimes larger after compression?

PNG is a lossless format, so it cannot be made smaller by reducing quality. For photos and screenshots, choose JPEG or WebP — both usually produce dramatically smaller files. The percentage indicator will honestly tell you if a file got larger.
